My Family crest.

My Family Coat of Arms

For my family coat of arms the Lion in the left top corner represents fierce courage which means we are brave. The heart in the right top corner means Love and Truthfulness meaning not lying and loving each other. The hand in the bottom left corner stands for Faith which means faith and belief in each other and ourselves. Lastly, the Sheaf of Wheat represents hardworking and always trying our best. The reason all of the symbols are red is because it means being strong like a Solider. The motto 'Family is Best' is short for 'The Best Team is Family' and family stick together.

Animal Shelters

Animal Shelters Week 1 Term 3

On the first day of school in the middle block we got to make shelters for animals out of wood, cardboard, plastic bags, bubble wrap and bottles.  My group of two boys and four girls called the Dabasaurus. We chose the Finger Monkey as our four legged quadruped animal. We thought we were being smart by choosing this animal thinking we had two days to finish it. Our resources that we used were wood, cardboard and plastic bags.

The roof was made of a plastic bag. The body of the house was made out of cardboard and it had wooden leg stilts. We even had a little slide coming out of the side. In the roof there was a plastic cup with a straw inside it. This was so water could come in through the straw and into the finger monkeys mouth. At the front of the house there was just a hole so the finger monkey could get in and out of the little house.
